Roos Markus is a Dutch long track speed skater born on September 7, 2000. She began her career at the NK Allround for Seniors in 2019, where she raced against her older sister Femke Markus. In 2020, she again participated in the NK Allround for Seniors and transitioned to marathon skating in 2021. Additionally, Roos is the younger sister of Riejanne and Femke Markus, both of whom are also involved in the sport.
