Ronald Merriott, born on May 24, 1960, in Rockford, Illinois, is a former American diver who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, winning a bronze medal. He became a two-time NCAA Champion in diving at the University of Michigan in 1982 and 1984. Additionally, Merriott excelled in trampoline, becoming the Junior World Champion in 1976. His achievements in both sports earned him recognition, including an award from the World Acrobatic Society in 2014. After his diving career, he trained as an official judge.
