Ronald Finn (1930-2004) was a British physician known for his significant contribution to treating Rh incompatibility between mothers and infants. He studied medicine in Liverpool, obtaining his M.D. in 1954 and later joining the Royal College of Physicians. In 1960, he discovered a method to treat Rh incompatibility with antibodies administered to Rh-negative mothers, significantly improving outcomes in at-risk pregnancies. His work, in collaboration with Cyril Clarke, led to a clinical study in 1964 that affirmed the effectiveness of this treatment, earning them the Lasker~DeBakey Award in 1980.
