Franciszka Grzanka, known as Sister Romualda in the convent, was a Polish nun born on January 11, 1901, in Jamy. She became a member of the Congregation of the Servants of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Romualda worked at a convent in Lisków, where she was arrested on February 19, 1941, and subsequently detained in a labor camp in Bojanowo. She died there on June 26, 1941. Her cause for beatification was initiated in 2003, recognizing her as one of the Polish victims of Nazi persecution during World War II.
