Rolf Randall (January 5, 1905 – June 17, 1974) was a Norwegian film director, photographer, author, and translator. He spent the years 1926–1932 in Hollywood, working on films both in front of and behind the camera. He contributed to the Norwegian film 'Vi vil leve' during WWII and later directed 'Den evige Eva' (1953). He also translated works, including Raymond Chandler's 'The Long Goodbye.' Additionally, he published stories under the pseudonym Johan Barre and wrote a total of 32 main stories in 'Romantikk' and 15 'Knut Gribb' stories.
