Dr. Rolf Lappert is a Swiss writer born on December 21, 1958, in Zurich. He grew up in Zofingen and Olten and trained as a graphic designer. Lappert has lived in France and Ireland between 2000 and 2011, and currently resides back in Switzerland. He has also run a jazz club in Aarburg. His literary works include novels, stories, and poems. In 2013, he contributed a poem titled 'Chliises Lied a d’Aare' to the title 'Übers Wasser tanzt' for the Aargauer Blueschtlääsi edited by Andreas Neeser.
