Roch Thériault was a cult leader born on May 16, 1947, in Quebec. He led a religious movement known as the Ant Hill Kids commune, where he had eight lovers and fathered 26 children. Thériault was infamous for his violent behavior, including the gruesome maiming of one of his wives. In 1993, he was sentenced to life in prison for murder and other crimes. Despite his incarceration, four of his wives remained loyal to him. Thériault was murdered in prison in 2011, and his life was portrayed in the 2002 film 'Savage Messiah'.
