Robert Dunlop Royce (14 March 1914 – 10 July 2008) was an Australian botanist known for his work at the Western Australian Herbarium, where he served as curator from 1960 to 1974. He began his career in botany in 1937 with the Department of Agriculture and conducted extensive research on toxic plants. Despite publishing numerous papers, he did not describe new taxa. In honor of his contributions, the genus Roycea and the species Eucalyptus roycei were named after him.
