Robert Kipp was a Canadian flying ace and Royal Canadian Air Force officer during World War II, credited with over ten aerial victories. Joining the RCAF in 1940, he was trained as an instructor before seeing combat in the UK with No. 418 Squadron. Kipp continued to serve post-war and commanded No. 410 Squadron. Tragically, he died in July 1949 during a flying accident involving a de Havilland Vampire jet fighter.
