Robert "Red" Ginzler (1910-1962) was an influential American orchestrator known for his work on major Broadway shows such as Gypsy, Bye Bye Birdie, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He collaborated frequently with arrangers Sid Ramin and Don Walker and was also known as Seymour Robert Ginzler. Despite a brief career, he significantly mentored notable composers including Robert Farnon and John Kander. Ginzler was recognized by critics for his innovative arrangements and believed that broad musical knowledge heightened one's appreciation of music.
