Risaburo Ota (March 7, 1901 - April 9, 1992) was a Japanese banker and executive. Born in Hiroshima, he graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1925 and joined the Bank of Japan, becoming director in 1947. He served as vice president of the Japan Development Bank in 1951 and was the president from 1957 to 1963. Ota also held leadership roles in the Japan Railway Construction Agency and the Japan Automobile Dealers Association, and served on the board of Kintetsu Corporation until 1988. He was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure in 1971.
