Rimma Ivanovna Bilunova was a Russian chess player born on August 21, 1940, and she passed away on December 21, 2015. She was awarded the title of International Master in chess in 1968. Bilunova served as the head coach of the National Women's Team of the USSR from 1983 to 1988. She was a two-time champion for women in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1966 and 1968, as well as a two-time champion for the Armed Forces of the USSR in the same years.
