Renzo Alverà was an Italian bobsledder born on January 17, 1933, in Cortina d'Ampezzo. He competed in the 1950s and 1960s, achieving notable success at the 1956 Winter Olympics held in his hometown, where he won two silver medals in both the two-man and four-man bobsleigh events. He teamed up with Eugenio Monti for both competitions. Alverà's impressive career also included six gold medals and one bronze at the Bobsleigh World Championships from 1957 to 1961.
