René Lefèvre was a French aviator born on November 12, 1903, in Venizel, Aisne. He was a pioneer of aviation and is renowned for his role as a co-pilot on the Oiseau Canari flight in June 1929, which marked the first French crossing of the North Atlantic from west to east. He significantly contributed to the history of aviation before his death on April 12, 1972, in Paris.
