He is best known for his translation of Collodi's book, 'The Adventures of Pinocchio,' published in 1984. Siòl was an active promoter of the Occitan language and identity in the Nîmes region, significantly contributing to the growth of local cultural associations such as Marpòc. He passed away in January 2011.
