Ram Chandra Prasad Singh, born on July 6, 1958, is an Indian politician and former national president of the Janata Dal (United). He served as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha for Bihar from 2010 to 2022. Prior to his political career, he was an IAS officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre and served as the principal secretary to Nitish Kumar. Singh held the position of Minister of Steel in the Second Modi ministry following a cabinet reshuffle.
