Raymond M. Smith was a Canadian politician born on August 3, 1924, in Springhill, Nova Scotia. A member of the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative Party, he represented Cumberland Centre in the House of Assembly from 1968 to 1974. Smith was educated at Acadia University and the Maritime College of Forest Technology. He worked as a sales representative before entering politics. He was married to Anna Burden in 1950 and lived until his death on October 13, 1988.
