Raymond Joseph Dolan is an Irish neuroscientist born on January 21, 1954, in Galway. He holds the position of Mary Kinross Professor of Neuropsychiatry at University College London. From 2006 to 2015, he served as the founding director of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Neuroimaging. Dolan earned his medical degree from the National University of Ireland in 1988. His research focuses on the neurobiology of emotion and decision-making.
