Ray Bauduc was an American jazz drummer, born on June 18, 1906, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and he passed away in 1988 in Texas. He is best known for his work with The Bob Crosby Orchestra from 1935 to 1942. Bauduc co-wrote the hit song 'Big Noise From Winetka' in 1938 with bassist Bob Haggart, which highlighted bass and drum interplay. His musical style included Dixieland and swing, influenced by Baby Dodds, and later in his life, he also performed in bebop ensembles.
