Rauno Toivonen (1924–1999) was a Finnish editor, publisher, and writer. His notable achievements include founding the technology magazine Harrastelija, which later became Tekniikan Maailma, and serving as its editor until the 1980s. Toivonen also launched the motor sports publication Vauhdin Maailma in 1965. He held significant roles, including CEO of Kirjamaailma Oy and Elektrofoto Oy and editor of Tiedon Palat. A member of various literary organizations, he served as president of the Finnish Writers' Union and was awarded honorary distinctions for his contributions to literature.
