Ramón d'Andrés is a Spanish philologist born in Madrid on May 28, 1959, known for his studies of the Asturian language. He is the son of the popular Asturian writer Manuel d'Andrés Fernández. Living most of his life in Gijón, Asturias, he has been a professor of Spanish and Asturian Philology at the University of Oviedo since 1985, where he delivered the first course on the Asturian language. His research focuses on grammatical, dialectological, and sociolinguistic aspects of Asturian. He co-authored the linguistic atlas ETLEN in 2017.
