Ramesh Chandra Agarwal was an influential Indian media proprietor and the founder-chairman of the Dainik Bhaskar group. Born on 30 November 1944, he started the Dainik Bhaskar newspaper in Bhopal in 1958, significantly expanding its reach across 14 states in India, with 62 editions and a readership exceeding 15 million by the time of his passing on 12 April 2017. Notable for launching the Indore edition in 1983 and the Rajasthan edition in 1996, he played a crucial role on the board of D.B. Corp Limited from its establishment.
