He was known for his unique blend of Malay, dangdut, reggae, and keroncong music styles. Rama rose to fame in the 1990s with his popular cover of 'Dinda Bestari'. His distinctive fashion sense featured brightly colored, flowing outfits and a signature reggae-style hat, which made him a notable figure in the Indonesian music scene until his passing in Jakarta on March 11, 2020.
