Ralph Thomas Scurfield was a Canadian businessman, born on January 7, 1928. He served as the President and CEO of Nu-West Group Limited from 1957 until his death in 1985. Additionally, he was one of the original owners of the Calgary Flames hockey team. Tragically, he died on February 18, 1985, due to an avalanche while heli-skiing on Mount Duffy in the Bugaboo Mountains of British Columbia.
