Rebert H. Harris (1916–2000) was an influential American gospel artist known for his remarkable three-octave tenor voice. He played a crucial role in transitioning the jubilee quartet style into a lead-focused hard gospel style during the 1940s and 1950s. As the lead singer of the Soul Stirrers, he significantly impacted the genre and inspired many artists, including Sam Cooke. Harris's legacy was recognized with his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2000.
