She is known as Queen Margarita or Her Majesty Margarita, Queen of Bulgaria, and Duchess of Saxony. During her husband's tenure as Prime Minister of Bulgaria, she was referred to as Mrs. Margarita Sakskoburgotska. She is related through marriage to notable Spanish nobility.
