Qixia Chen (October 20, 1913 – January 16, 1988), originally named Yan Gui Chen, was a modern Chinese writer and a member of the Communist Party of China. Born in Yin County, Zhejiang, she served as the Vice Chair of the Zhejiang Branch of the Chinese Writers Association and as the editor of the magazine 'National Literature'. Her works include the essay collection 'The Glorious Mission' and novels such as 'Lion's Beak Valley', 'The Destruction of the First Rice Mill', and 'Night Song', among others included in 'Collected Works of Qixia'.
