Qi Xu (May 16, 1917 – January 9, 2020) was a Chinese photographer and prominent cinematographer from Jiangyin, Jiangsu. He was a primary cinematographer at Shanghai Film Studio and served as a council member of the China Film Association. He won the Golden Rooster Award for Best Cinematography in 1981 for his work on 'The Legend of Tianyun Mountain'. Qi Xu is remembered for his significant contributions to Chinese cinema.
