Merab Geghia (30 August 1944 – 24 March 2020) was a Georgian theater scholar known for his contributions to theater criticism. He was a laureate of the Comsomol Prize in 1976 and the Kote Marjanishvili Prize in 2001. Geghia was a member of the Georgian Theatre Workers' Union since 1971 and became an academician at the Academy of Educational Sciences of Georgia in 1999.
