Boleslav Filippovich Dzhurinsky (1932–1999) was a Russian scientist specializing in rare elements chemistry and inorganic polymers. He received the Kurnakov Prize in 1981. A graduate of MIFI, he was a student of I.V. Tananaev and worked at IONH, becoming the head of the rare elements and inorganic polymers laboratory in 1990. He earned a Doctor of Chemical Sciences degree, presenting a dissertation on borates of rare earth elements in 1972. Dzhurinsky published several significant papers in his field.
