Vladimir Vasilyevich Tolkanov (born February 26, 1931) is a prominent Ukrainian choral conductor and educator, recognized as an Honored Artist of Arts of the Ukrainian SSR in 1981. He graduated from Odesa Conservatory in 1959 and has been a faculty member at Rivne Music College and Rivne State University of Humanities, where he became a professor. Tolkanov has composed various choral works and methodological guides, influencing many students, including notable figures in Ukrainian music.
