Li Yong (May 1963 – December 11, 2019) was a Chinese ancient astronomer and a researcher at the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He served as the chief scientist of the History of Astronomy and Astronomical Heritage Research Group and as the Executive Vice President of the Chinese Ancient Astronomy Joint Research Center. His work contributed significantly to the field of ancient Chinese astronomy.
