Chang Qiankun (September 3, 1904 – May 20, 1973) was an aviation expert, translator, and a representative at the Third National People's Congress of China. He hailed from Yuanqu County in Shanxi Province and was one of the founding major generals of the People's Liberation Army. Chang contributed significantly to aviation literature through translations of works like 'Principles of Flight' and 'Introduction to Aircraft Aerodynamics'. His work helped disseminate knowledge in the field of aviation in China.
