Wang Zengcai (January 2, 1935 – July 7, 2020) was a prominent historian of modern Western history in Taiwan. He graduated from the Department of History at National Taiwan University and later earned a PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK. Wang served as a professor and held various administrative positions, including department head and dean of the College of Liberal Arts at National Taiwan University, as well as dean at Tamkang University. He was also associated with Chinese Culture University and was an executive member of the Chinese Historical Society.
