Tekuchev Alexey Vasilyevich (March 30, 1903 – May 23, 1987) was a Soviet scientist, linguist, educator, and methodologist. He obtained a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences degree in 1952 and became a professor in 1968. He was a full member of the Russian Academy of Education in 1959 and the Soviet Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in 1968. He was also recognized as an Honored Scientist of the RSFSR and was a laureate of the USSR State Prize, receiving the K. D. Ushinsky Medal for his contributions to education.
