رشاد بن بشير السنوسي الهوني was a Libyan poet born on December 31, 1937, in طنطا. His family moved back to Benghazi after his father's death in 1946. He began his career in local government and published his first poem in 1957. He was involved in journalism, co-founding the daily newspaper 'الحقيقة' and later working in London. He played significant roles in literary circles and established the newspaper 'العرب'. He returned to Benghazi in 1983 and passed away on October 2, 1993.
