Vyacheslav Koshchiy was a Ukrainian composer, born on December 28, 1938, in Kharkiv and passed away on April 9, 2005, in Poltava. He was a graduate of the Ural State Conservatory. Koshchiy served as a member of the Bureau of the Poltava branch of the All-Ukrainian Music Union and held the position of chairman of the Union of Amateur Composers of Poltava region from 1980 to 2002.
