Alexander Alexandrovich Boldyrev (July 29, 1914 - February 19, 1995) was a Soviet and Russian choral conductor, educator, composer, and social activist. He was a laureate of several international festivals, including the VIII World Festival of Youth and Students in Helsinki (1962). Boldyrev composed two operas and various works for soloists and choral ensembles. He received the accolade of Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR in 1969 and was a member of the Voronezh Music Society.
