Aibek Bektaev (May 12, 1927 - August 2, 1994) was a Soviet and Kazakh musician known for his expertise in percussion instruments. He served as an associate professor at the Alma-Ata Conservatory named after Kurmangazy and is regarded as one of the founders of the classical percussion instrument school in Kazakhstan, significantly contributing to the music education and culture of the region.
