Fridtjof Jørstad (1918-2012) was a Norwegian farmer and politician who served as mayor of Snåsa for three terms from 1976 to 1987, representing the Centre Party. He inherited the Vestre Gran farm in 1950 and held various leadership roles in local banking and forestry. Jørstad was also active in the Snåsa orchestral society as a member, conductor, and composer. A veteran of the Battle of Narvik in 1940, he contributed to several local history books and was awarded the King's Medal of Merit in 1995.
