Valentina Alekseyevna Dyatlova (September 6, 1946 - September 5, 2000) was a notable parachutist and a student of the Novosibirsk Aeroclub. She was a master of sports in the USSR and achieved seven world records while completing 4,240 parachute jumps. Dyatlova was also a three-time medalist in zonal competitions and won awards in the USSR Armed Forces Championships and Cup meetings between 1967-1989.
