Petr Afanasyevich Ionkin (June 25, 1907 - July 11, 1980) was a specialist in electrical engineering and a Doctor of Technical Sciences. He served as a professor at the Electrophysics Department of MEI and received the State Prize of the USSR in Science and Technology in 1979. Ionkin was recognized as an honored figure in science and technology in the Russian Federation. His contributions significantly impacted the field of electrical engineering in Russia.
