Vladimir Mikhailovich Matushevich (January 22, 1935 - January 28, 2017) was a Soviet and Russian scientist in the fields of mining and geology. He served as the rector of the Ukhta Industrial Institute from 1975 to 1980 and was the head of the Department of Hydrogeological and Engineering Geological Surveys at Tyumen State Oil and Gas University. He was recognized as an Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR.
