Valentin Afanasyevich Kiselev (May 11, 1936 – October 28, 2018) was a prominent aviation designer from Moscow. He is known for authoring textbooks and scientific developments in aircraft design. He made history by demonstrating flapping flight with his model of a flapping-wing flying apparatus. His significant contributions to aviation earned him the prestigious State Prize of the USSR.
