Igor Ivanovich Kobzev was a Russian Soviet poet, literary critic, journalist, and public figure, recognized for his contributions to literature and painting. He was born on August 19, 1924, in Rostov-on-Don and participated in the Great Patriotic War. Kobzev was the organizer and leader of the Public Museum 'The Tale of Igor's Campaign,' which was located in Moscow. He was also the father of sinologist Artem Kobzev. He passed away on May 10, 1986, in Moscow.
