Gizzatullin Ibrahim Gazizulla ulı (15 September 1918 – 13 May 1992) was a Bashkir prose writer and a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. He became a member of the Union of Soviet Writers in 1965. He was awarded the Order of Glory (3rd class, 1943), the Order of the Patriotic War (1st class, 1985), and the Order of Friendship of Peoples (1985), as well as military medals. Gizzatullin was recognized as an Honored Cultural Worker of the Bashkir ASSR in 1988 and was a laureate of the Galimov Salam Youth State Prize in 1968. He was widely celebrated in the region and former Soviet Union as the 'Bashkir Maresev.'
