Leonid Ivanovich Vigorov (January 15, 1913 – March 13, 1976) was a Soviet biochemist and plant physiologist. He served as a professor at the Ural State Forestry Technical University. Vigorov conducted original research in the fields of physiology, biochemistry, and breeding of wheat, dendrophysiology, and nitrogen nutrition of woody plants. He also studied the resources and patterns of distribution of biologically active substances in garden plants. He founded the Medicinal Plants Garden in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg) in 1969 and participated in the Great Patriotic War as a senior technician-lieutenant.
