Slaviša Vajner was a Jewish Yugoslav partisan and a member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia. He was born on June 27, 1903, in Novi Vinodolski, Dalmatia, Austro-Hungarian Empire, and died on January 21, 1942, near Peinovac in Nazi-occupied Yugoslavia. Vajner fought in battles for the liberation of Yugoslavia and was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Yugoslavia in 1944.
