Liana Gabetchava (born October 20, 1935, Kutaisi - died March 4, 2020) was a Georgian educator and translator. She was a distinguished lecturer at Tbilisi Ilia Chavchavadze State University of Foreign Languages. Gabetchava was awarded the Order of Honor in 1996 and was a laureate of the State Prize of Georgia. She translated several significant Georgian works into English, contributing to the cultural exchange between Georgia and the English-speaking world.
