Professor Anjum Azmi (born January 2, 1931 - died January 31, 1990) was a prominent Urdu poet and critic from Pakistan. Born in Faizabad, he educated in Gorakhpur, Allahabad, and Aligarh before settling in Karachi in 1952, where he worked in the education department. His poetry collections include 'Lab o Rukhsar', 'Lahu Ke Chiragh', 'Chehra', and 'Zeer Aasmaan', while his critical works include 'Adab Aur Haqiqat' and 'Shayari Ki Zuban'. He received the Adamjee Literary Award in 1975.
